FAQ
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
Avoid makeup for 1 week, because the doctor puts a soft splint on the chin area to stop the implant from shifting.
Can I eat as normal?
The doctor will let you eat as normal, but stick to mildly flavored foods that are easy to chew, which helps reduce movement of the muscles around the chin. For the first month, however, you should cut down on foods that can irritate healing and on fermented or pickled foods.
Can I have a facial massage afterwards?
For the first 1-3 months, facial massage is not recommended, because the implant and the tissue have not fully knitted together yet, so pressure should be avoided.
If I get a pimple on my chin, can it be treated as normal?
It can be treated as normal, but you should not press hard on that area.
