Deep Plane Face Lift
Surgery to correct sagging facial skin, restoring a smooth, firm surface and turning back the clock for a more youthful look. A specialist plastic surgeon removes the excess fat that has accumulated beneath the skin and tightens the muscle, using a special technique known as a “deep plane face lift”, that is, the SMAS layer (SMAS : Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System). The lift is tailored to each person’s structure, with the treatment judged to suit the patient — neither too little nor too much. The surgery is divided into 3 parts, namely:
- The upper face (lifting the temples, the outer corners of the eyes and the brow tails) – Upper Face Lift
- The mid-face (lifting the cheeks and the nasolabial folds) – Middle Face Lift
- The lower face (lifting the corners of the mouth, the marionette lines and the jawline) – Lower Face Lift

FAQ
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
Normally, after suture removal, about 7 days, you can wear makeup.
Where will the incision be located?
It is normally hidden behind the ear and along the hairline.
After a face lift, will the shape of other parts of the face change as well?
The doctor removes an appropriate amount of excess skin and shapes the rest of the face in proportion, so that nothing is distorted — for example, the outer corners of the eyes are not pulled upward.
